Just did my first "more than just to the store" drive on 2025.10 - a 3 hour drive one way yesterday morning, then a 3 hour drive home in the afternoon.

On the way up, I had two instances of both the infotainment and instrument clusters freezing, audio source stuttering, then suddenly both screens rebooted. Vehicle was still fully drivable, and the speedometer, status/warning lights, and gear selector were all visible nearly the whole time. (The speedo and gear were technically "visible" the whole time, but were very-dark-gray text on black, so with sun glare, I didn't see them in the morning reboots.)

Was parked in a secure garage, so I turned all the "stay on" features off, figuring the "vehicle shutdown" would reboot things for my return trip.

On the way back, at least half a dozen instances.

I was exhausted and forgot to do a vehicle reset yesterday. Hoped overnight shut down would fix it.

Nope, drove across town today (only 30ish minutes) and had one reboot. Return drive a couple hours later had two.

The only commonality I noticed was that I had Driver+ engaged every time it happened - but about 90% of my driving both days was with Driver+ engaged. (Of note - the signal that it was happening was that I got the "Driver+ disengaged" sound, but the display still showed it engaged – because it was frozen.) I did stop using Driver+ today after the second shutdown in the first 10 minutes of today's return drive, and didn't have any more freeze/reboot. But yesterday I had longer stretches without shutdown but on Driver+, too, so it could have been random.

I have had 2025.10 since the second day it was released and so far the only issue is that Apple Music shuts down frequently. Sorry yours is doing that👎🏼

Did an actual "full system reboot" after today's driving. Tomorrow I'll test it out.

I'm in the midst of a 3 week road trip and had the exact same issues. The fix was doing a full reset and an infotainment reset. After that everything has been good for over 1,000 miles.

Worth a service ticket - I had similar issues a bit ago and turns out my AXM needed to be replaced.

I had a similar issue, drove about 50 miles to pick up a UTV, and everything on the screen disappeared, except for the speed, from what I recall, and infotainment screen just restarted, everything eventually came back on, but it only happened once...don't think I've driven it since then so haven't noticed it happen other than the one time.

Yeah...I was about to pull in my garage a couple days ago and when I went into reverse the camera didn't come up. Tried to manually toggle the camera and the center display was completely unresponsive and couldn't get anything to change/toggle. Maybe 30s later the camera screen partially popped up, very stuttery and slow...then both displays rebooted on their own. I'd been noticing that the various tabs/apps were getting less responsive overall. Whatever they tried to do to make things more responsive has made it much worse.

Yes. My Gen1 is actually in service center for this.

But they couldn't find anything so far.

Thanks for the confirmation that I'm not alone, and that time or a reboot likely won't fix it. Opening a support ticket.

Looks like it is going to be fixed in a future update, per what the SC told me a few minutes back.

FWIW (which prolly ain't much), I'm on 2025.10.01 and just came back from a 1,300-mile trip with no such issues. (R1T Gen 1, August 2023 build) Not that that helps anyone.

Well, I just spent a couple hours doing a local freeway loop in the same circumstances (Conserve, lowest suspension, just fan AC/heat off, radio, with navigation destination) as my long trip that had it happen multiple times, so I could not the exact times it happened.

Of course it didn't happen even once.

*SIGH*

Mine rebooted on the second drive after the update. So far not a second time. But I have been seeing the GPS freeze up for a few seconds and then slew rapidly to the real position. This latter issue is occurring all the time, on every drive.

So perhaps the hard reset cleared whatever was causing the frequent soft resets.
