Proximity Locking Away From Home

If your vehicle locks and unlocks frequently while you are at home, you can turn proximity locking off at home as follows:

1. From the center display, choose Settings and then choose Access.
2. Go to Proximity Locking and then choose the Away From Home button.

Agreed! I noticed a big improvement on my Gen1 R1T immediately after installing the update - still had a time or two yesterday that it lagged a little bit, but seems waaaaayyy better than before.

We both use Pixel 9 Pros, will still walk up and see gear guard gary on, but no unlock (this is while using PAAK) Have to toggle the unlock on screen/widget.

I use a Pixel 7pro. As long as the app is open, it works great.

...has done wonders for the vehicle. Now PAAK works like it was supposed to over the last few years.

100% concur! I was just talking to my son last night about this. It's actually working how I expect it to now!

I always had an issue with it prior as my kitchen was right above the truck in the garage. I would go through the kitcken, put my shoes on, and out to the truck and it would be slow sluggish to wake up. Now, it just works!

I agree, PAAK is actually working for me now for the first time ever. Or at least PAAK in combination with carrying the fob. Old habits die hard. Thank you, Rivian, this is really really nice!

I've had one PAAK failure since the update: Gear Guard is on, but the car doesn't open. It's like it missed the trigger to wake up as I approached. This used to happen all the time, though, so maybe it is better with the update.

It’s two failures in a row for me now. I don’t think PAAK will ever be reliable for me on my late model iPhone. I have to take out the phone and wake it up for the Rivian to unlock.

Still 100x better than before for me. Phone stays in picked nearly all the time now.
