For anyone who got a lease offer then added f&f discount, and got an updated lease: how much did the lease payment change? Did the residual change?

Mine went down $183/month. I’m in CA and lease payments include tax. My f&f was $6k.

The employee referral (f&f) gets applied as cap cost reduction (basically lowered selling price). As such, this doesn’t change residual value which is calculated against MSRP.

Anybody confirm if the recent $5,000 reduction on P dual motor lowers residual? Seems like it is lowering the MSRP and not a cap cost reduction, so it should. I am still awaiting my updated contracts over this long weekend. Delivery scheduled for Wednesday.

Yes, 2023 PDM Max. Interesting, I just looked again and I was shopping different zip codes. One was showing 3 Max packs previously left and the PDM was $5k, Max pack was $13,100. Now those are gone.

You may have been comparing against a 2024 which are not as discounted. The 2023s are sold out except for a few zip codes.

If you want to feel really good...price out what you're getting as a new '24 in the configurator. My exact '23 setup that I'm getting with the lease is pricing out to over $100k in the configurator. The lease before all the discounts was an MSRP of $83500. When you add the price difference of the Max pack upgrade cost, the free tonneau cover, and the no charge PDM...that makes quite a big price difference. Makes me feel even better at what I'm getting. LOL

I'm not an employee, just a regular joe. I found that reddit thread and messaged a person stating that they were an employee and could give me a referral to which I gave them my order number, Name, and associated email. A few days later they added the referral to my account.

They did remove my F150 discount as they told me that one wouldn't stack, but it was $4,000 discount vs $6,000 discount so it was better for me to take the employee discount.

Thanks for the confirmation. My rivian contact has been adamant that they are not able to stack and insist that your deal might have been in error. You might have been lucky or my contact doesn’t know the process.

Mine went down $220 a month with the same DAS. I had the $7250 Max discount.

Hey guys, so very new at Rivian, I own a Model Y Perf. I'm looking at R1T and the leases are looking good but I'm worried about the $1000 non-refundable deposit. Ther are no centers in CT (yet from what I understand) is there a way to talk to someone before placing "an order" on a lease and then potentially lose $1000? how are you guys getting the extra discounts that are not showing up online? like that F&F discount?
