I would like to know what the mileage difference is between the two. With Tesla it can be up to 10% difference. I don’t think they have shared this info yet.

depends on your objective. If it's maximizing your range, then the 21" All Seasons are probably the way to go. Way less rolling resistance than the 20" AT and 22" wheels reduce range significantly.

I will be getting the 20" AT, but will likelt swap the ATs for All Season tires once they wear out. I like the imcreased sidewall size of the 20" wheel, and there's plenty of AT & AS tire options in 275/65 R20.

I was looking at the Michelin site earlier and they have a 34" AT for a 20" wheel that reviews said supposedly gets as much as 100,000 miles.

I am curious to ask Rivian if we can configure our R1Ts for these non OEM tire and wheel sizes in the software. I am pretty sure it matters.

I like efficient and non flashy and almost always the smaller the wheel the cheaper... so 20” for me. As much as I like the look of AT they’re always nosier on the road and wear faster. No need to reinvent tire sizes unless there is a good reason (I can’t think of any) so the more common the tire size the easier they will to replace.

edit: is it really only 20” AT or 22”AS? If so 20” AT and I’ll replace with AS as soon as I wear them out.

Yes. I'm just curious if these "custom" Pirelli ATs might be less noisy than standard.

Edit/Note - I was reading your question specific to the 20", where AT is the only option, and 22" where AS (sport) is the only option. Others are correct that there is also the 21" AS option.

I believe the 21" AS are standard

Thanks. Figured that on the 21”. I suspect less than 20” will look funky. Going to that link in seeing $800 for 20” and $900 for 22”. I can live with that.

Any replacement tire needs to be rated for an EV to ensure high enough pressure and load rating. DO NOT replace with just any tire that matches the dimensions.
