Taken my R1T to some Dispersed Camping (Big Sur and Sonora Pass). Overall loving the truck.

Some notes: my battery usage for a day while camping (drain as well as using 110VAC for cooking) is about 10 miles a day.
Normal highway driving ABRP is more conservative in predicting (for example it would predict getting to a charger at 30 percent, and I would pull in at 40 percent). 21s, conserve, sometimes with aero covers. Uphills the predictions were the opposite (by similar percentages). I wonder if ABRP doesn't account for vehicle weight enough

Anxious for the gear shuttle to start shipping. I may end up building my own version of the camp kitchen, but having the slide out shuttle will be key.

Awesome pictures! Did you get to try camp mode while you were there?

I had to override abrp's wh/mi setting. It had it way lower than I was seeing. Once I got that dialed in, it was getting me very accurate predictions.
Annoyingly, I accidentally hit the 'reset' button, so I can't remember what that setting ended up being...

Thanks for the report! Did you find yourself having to air down the 21’s at any point? If so, how much did you air down to and at what point did you decide to do it?

Your photos look like they were plucked straight from Rivian's marketing materials. Great report, and beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing!

What number did you eventually put in ABRP to get you more accurate picture?

I did not air down my 21s and the R1T handled everything great. I am new to off-roading though so don't take what I did or did not do as what is right.

That trip must have been so fun! I’ve driven through the Big Sur area a couple of times and it is simply awe inspiring. Waking up to that with a cup of good coffee and a good stretch - nice.

If you go through there ready for camping…try to get in to Plaskett Creek

Don’t want to give away spots but is that top of Plaskett Ridge fire road or Willow Creek? When was this, it’s been so packed with other campers the last few years. Gla

Ridgeline of Plaskett Ridge Road 3 weeks ago

yeah a little crowded, but able to find some space.
Got more crowded at sunset but most people were respectful of space and noise

Did have to do a trash walk/pickup though. uggh
added a trash pickup grabber and gloves to my gear list after that trip

I think part of the issue is a better route planner doesn't have separate entries based on wheel tire types
