Drove up to Sedona yesterday, 7/20/2023 from Phoenix, AZ. Used the Sedona RAN and hit the Soldier’s Pass trail yesterday afternoon and the Broken Arrow Trail this morning.
My R1T with 20’s had better than expected efficiency on drive up. It was about 100 miles from central Phoenix to the Sedona RAN with about 3100 feet of elevation gain. Temps were in the 100’s. AC set to 74. 4 adult passengers with too much luggage. Ventilated seats on high the whole time. Conserve Mode the whole way. Drove about 75 mph. Driver+ worked quite well for me. Drive up was very pleasant.
The truck is like a cheat code for the trails. Makes things very easy. Strongly recommend these trails, just watch for crowds, especially Pink Jeep Tours, and especially when the temps are not miserably hot.
Trip Efficiency pic and Sedona RAN photo below. Trails pics to follow.
