I got my truck at the end of November (Limestone R1T; Adventure Package; Ocean Coast Interior; 20” All Terrain Dark Wheels; Guide Susan). I picked up the truck at the Costa Mesa, CA Service Center and drove straight to my tint/wrap guy over at Elevance in Hawaiian Gardens.
I wanted to keep a grey and black theme with those subtle yellow details (CA’s black and yellow 60’s Legacy license plates help ?). The shop did the following:
- Full matte PPF wrap (including edges and de-badging/re-badging)
- Glossy black wrap on black trim
- Silver sections of front and rear bumpers wrapped black (then covered with PPF)
- 15% nano ceramic tint all around (including panoramic roof)
- Slight tint applied to headlights
- Blacked out badges (rear badges painted, but the remaining badges wrapped to retain the yellow sides)
- Ceramic coat all around
I thought I’d share the results since I haven’t seen many images of stealth Limestone R1’s. I couldn’t be happier with the results and to finally be a part of the club!
Here’s a mix of shop photos and my own, which give a slight sense of the tone under different lighting conditions.
Edit: Here’s a couple pics from before the re-badging. I figured I’d help out by showing as many different lighting conditions as possible. This is under the fluorescent lighting in the shop.
