Manufacturer installed PPF is better than nothing, but just barely. No paint correction, and no sweating the alignment, just banging it out. You can hope the paint see underneath is good, but if not, you just PPFed it in.Is anyone noticing an unexpected estimated delivery issue after adding the paint protection option to their configuration? just trying to figure out what happened after CS described a late 2022/early 2023 delivery window in an email response a month ago.
I don’t think it’s much of a deal.
PPF is a ridiculously time consuming process. I for one, was not psyched to see it added to the configurator. But it is great when it’s done right.
