Holy crap! I rarely check my Spam folder for anything. After finding my Rivian email last night, I went back into my Spam folder again this morning. There's stuff in there that would make a pornstar blush! Sex, drugs, and drugs for sex, all for the click of a button! After five minutes of scrolling through that stuff, I had to go wash my hands!

There are casinos and long-lost "relatives" who would be more than happy to have me enter my banking info so that they may help me out. Isn't that kind of them?

The funniest discovery is that my monthly statements from my cable-phone-internet provider, Ziply Fiber, are all there. I'm not sure if it's because of their unique/goofy name or because of what they do to me everytime I call them looking for help. If their customer service used a 1-900 #, they'd be the richest company in the world.

No email regarding my 8/2021 R1S preorder. As expected.

I am extremely happy to have an estimate from Rivian. The date is what I had estimated a few months back based on the S1. If it was sooner I would be selling my truck this year and driving my daughters car. If I had known this 10 moths back I would have sold my truck back then and gotten another new truck.

Interesting. I'm 4 days later, R1S LE, LG/FE, 22" Sport Bright wheels. No spare, +crossbars, no charger (I already have one), +floor mats, no off-road upgrade. And I'm May-June, 2 months later. Is that due to location because you're in Chicago and I'm in Atlanta? Or is it something with the FE interior?

R1T LE, Glacier white/OC/20" AT tires/spare tire/charger/all weather mats...but NO off road package. May/June delivery, in Columbus, GA, and thinking the completion of the Atlanta service center hopefully by March 2022 (seems unlikely as haven't heard about any construction yet) may be playing a factor, but not sure the off-road package is making any difference.

So, we have all been receiving delivery windows and those should be taken with a bag of salt, but I have a question. This is assuming every pre-order is converted to an actual order. We know this will not be 100%, but IF Rivian is able to meet these dates, do you think they would adjust deliveries based on cancelations? Obviously, the first deliveries will be in the first window regardless of cancellations, but the following groups might see some movement up. I am in the June - July 2022 group, so maybe, if enough people don't convert, I can have my LE by end of spring, as they said earlier.

Let's hope they purposefully chose not to account for customer defection. That way, they might actually have a chance at meeting their stated delivery targets ?

Yes. I have a R1T LE with no off road package with an April/May date. Preordered Oct 2019.

Just don't know if my delivery will be later if I remove the off road upgrade. frustrating nobody can answer a simple question.
