Its very annoying they seem to have such a good product that they can get away with treating customers this badly. Totally ridiculous.All I have to say is that I will be out of the country for almost the entire month of March and did not expect to have to wait until Q2 for my Rivian after being told Nov as recently as last week.
Anyone have a spare truck I can use? lololol ughhhh

That would be me.There are likely some early preorders that just didn't opt for LE for whatever reason (like they only wanted Explore), and they want to satisfy them. That's one possibility (beyond the employee one).
I can only imagine the fury if a day 1 preorder gets a delivery estimate of January 2023. They will revise that quip from "...a woman scorned".
Tesla do it and do worse as well. I've seen cases where at the end of quarter push will assign someone a VIN, take the payment in full for the car, and yank the VIN/car away so they can deliver it close to the factory.I
