Not mine, but a comparable Forest Green in Stealth, for those interested. Im personally on the fence!

I actually wanted to do the same but afraid that it looks too much like the Launch Green... but this looks really good. Don't get me wrong, I like the LG too but paid extra for FG, so I stay with the clear PPF.

Got one out of the shop, a little different than planned and glad we did. Picked it up at the factory which was awesome. Drove home and it was great. Tried to charge at an Electrify America station down the street from my house and the "pumps" weren't working. Got a super slow charge at home and found out how slow and fast charging could be at paid stations.

Drove it down to Indy for the race weekend and played around with EA chargers a bit. Aside from the pain of charging truly being real, everything was great. Rides nice, a little firm, but we've got a Wrangler Rubicon, so normal for us (nicer obviously).

Put almost 1,000 miles on it since Tuesday. Everyone who's seen it loves the look. Did I mention we like it? You should get one. Like pick one from the shop if you have that option, seriously off to a great start.

I had been thinking about ordering an R1S for a few months, and a few weeks ago I finally did it and placed a deposit down!….But unfortunately it was the same day Rivian announced their impending integration with the NACS and supercharger network, so I KNEW my reservation was most likely a few years away. But luckily, I did a search of available R1S and found this amazing Green on Green Adventure Series, with a production date on the sticker of 5/24/23. When I picked it up this morning, it had 120 miles on it. Even better, I was able to purchase it for less than it would cost to configure the exact specs direct from Rivian.

In the short time I have had it, I am quite impressed. The driver+ has been up to par with the Tesla basic Autopilot…at least on the roads it is enabled on. After owning 7 Teslas, this is my first foray into something new since 2017. Some of the things I miss from Tesla are purely software, which means they can be added later on. But after a day of ownership, I think the hype is justified. Now I am waiting to see how seamless the transfer process of the care into my Rivian account will be. Hopefully it wont take a few weeks.

For those like my family who have been debating getting a matte wrap on Forest Green, someone's misfortune is our gain. I was at Today's Collision in Malden, MA this afternoon where I saw this matte wrapped car, which I was told scraped against a concrete post while backing up. As a result there are wrapped portions right up against unwrapped sections. Taken on an iPhone under a cloudy gray New England sky (storm's coming, apparently) for what it's worth.

Thanks for posting these pics. I may be in the minority, but to me a matte wrap on a high-metalic effect paint just misses the point. I want to see all that shimmer and sparkle in the paint. I've never liked matte cars. I have green on green configured.
