I wonder if they would take issue with the backup lights being mounted in the rear bumper. Most likely labeling issues (French in key locations).
Might also be lights in or too close to the bumper (rear)… Ford made that mistake with 2002 Thunderbird, they ended up blanking off the front accent lights for Canadian versions.
Inside job....just trying to buy timeFor the Canadians , myself included, not the best news. The article implies it could be something minimal that didn't meet import regs, hopefully it's resolved soon. Gas in Vancouver BC is currently at 2.33 cdn/litre, or 8.80cdn/gal... or... 6.47usd, and no signs of coming down anytime soon.

I think they would have a problem with that. The Thunderbird accent lights weren’t even required, but it was a no go for Transport Canada.I wonder if they would take issue with the backup lights being mounted in the rear bumper.
Honestly, rock up in Squamish, Whistler or the Sunshine Coast (even just the ferry terminal line up) in a Rivian with some bikes on the back, and you'll spend half your ride in the parking lot showcasing the vehicle to future preorder holders. And two mountain biking Adams to boot! Think of all the advertising they'll get at the trail heads! I imagine they don't appreciate how many Tacomas with RTTs and Teslas with bike racks there are here, and what it means for their target demographic.
Bolt? LEAF? Can prolly get a used one of those for cheap. As long as you do t need to go more than 50 miles in the winter in the LEAF.that said, if I don't get a R1T soon I might have to buy a beater gas car to get me through winter. Will be my first (last?) gas car in over 3 years.
Zero excuse for any of those things to happen in 2022.Most likely labeling issues (French in key locations).
Might also be lights in or too close to the bumper (rear)… Ford made that mistake with 2002 Thunderbird, they ended up blanking off the front accent lights for Canadian versions.
No. CMVSS 108 is pretty much entirely harmonized with FMVSS 108 at this point.I wonder if they would take issue with the backup lights being mounted in the rear bumper.
I promise you will get your Rivian b4 the Canucks win the Stanley Cup.Honestly, rock up in Squamish, Whistler or the Sunshine Coast (even just the ferry terminal line up) in a Rivian with some bikes on the back, and you'll spend half your ride in the parking lot showcasing the vehicle to future preorder holders.
Edit
Rivian, I will gladly help spread the good word and show people around the vehicle at trail heads.
Obviously, Rivian is targeting my birthday in May for delivery. Kraken don't lose to the Canucks until the finals in JuneI promise you will get your Rivian b4 the Canucks win the Stanley Cup.
