Does anyone really give any credence to these kinds of surveys?? Don't get me wrong, I love my R1T but would I ever buy a car based on a survey of the public - NO.

The results of the survey aren't intended to make you buy a car, they're intended to tell manufacturers why people buy the cars thy buy.

Ordinarily this data wouldn't be available to the public anyway. This is industry research all manufacturers perform, and whether we like it or not, it's often pretty valid. Individuals are always outliers, but averages are real.
