How about from the top of the gear tunnel opening (props to @agame32 for the idea)? This is a nice relative point that I can use regardless of drive mode. Not looking for anything too precise, just within an inch or so. Thanks!

Just in case you are trying to figure out if a golf bag will fit. It will depend on the bag style of course but a standard 10" bag should fit. To be clear, I have checked that in CAD--I haven't tried it in physical space.
