According to everybody I talked to at Rivian service, and I talked to a lot of them, this is the first time they have seen this on a production unit. I was out under the impression they have seen it but only on pre production units
That’s a definite no. It allowed it to limp so many feet to basically allow you to get off the road. It won’t limp along on 2 motors or 3 three motors. It appears when something goes down its designed to be incapacitated. The tech couldn’t even trick it into moving.
My wife was driving the truck and as she was pulling back in the driveway 2 codes popped up on the dash and the hazards came on. She stopped and it wouldn’t move again. They said the limp mode it what let her get to the parking spot then it was over.
I do now know how to do a hard reset so I at...
Not at all trying to be a smart ass but they replaced the front drive unit. I have no idea what a front drive unit is. I know it was an 8hr job. They did take it to the service center in Normal to get it done. They flew a tech to my house to see if they could fix it but it couldn’t be done...
As the title says, I had a front drive unit failure at 40 miles. I had driven the truck about 5 miles and my wife probably 10 miles. Fortunately, it died in the driveway and not on the road because it was DRT. After almost 3 weeks, I’ll be getting it back tomorrow.
I got an email today saying my delivery for Wednesday had been canceled. I talked to my guide and she didn’t know why but after she did a fair amount of digging that there’s a form that needs to be signed by somebody in the gubment here in the great state of Louisiana. I have zero faith in the...
My truck will be delivered Wednesday, my charger still has not shipped. The nearest charger other than plugging up whatever comes with the truck is 95 miles away. Why they haven’t shipped the charger is beyond me.
Basically that was good enough to allow scheduling of delivery which she did for me because I’m so far away the system wouldn’t allow me to schedule.
I’m in NorthEast Louisiana. I had guide contact last Friday the 11th, I instantly got my PBA and signed it and sent it back in and got confirmation. Tuesday my guide called and said that they didn’t see I had do the PBA, I sent screen shots to her of everything on my end and they accepted that...
I signed my PBA Friday. The PBA had the old high price, now my config shows the correct price. I have no idea the steps from here. My guide put me under the impression my truck wasn’t built but that they had my parts for my configuration and that’s why they pulled it. I’m holding on to hope that...
I’m not sure how close the closest SC is from me. I’m 300 ish miles from Dallas and Houston and further than that from Atlanta. I’m excited to hear your process went so quickly, it certainly gives me hope!
Absolutely it will hold 2 of whatever you can pull in there. Worry about something else but damn sure don’t worry about if you’re concrete will hold it.
