Towing Capacity & Range -- Possible to tow 6,500 pounds 150 miles without a recharge?
Going with a hard no from experience. Same weight V-Nose Car Hauler. I tried pushing to 115 miles and dipped 4kWh past 0. Rule of thumb 1% battery per mile and youāll be safe. Also the charge time back to 80% from 0% even on a 350kW charger blows. The truck ramps down to 150kWh and says...- FNWY2004

For those who got R1S (or R1T) at original approximately $78k would you buy one for new price of approximately $93k?

I had the same thing pop up on a short trip with over 50% battery. Thought it was odd and hit continue. -

12 volt system totally died, bricked truck... Still waiting for Rivian to review logs and tell me why!
Dropping 2 charged lithium batteries in the spare tire well. If I get stranded, I could give no shits about a warranty if it can get me out of a jamb. Some ass covering can be to put a multimeter on the dead batteries and take a photo before changing them. Changing out two 12v batteries...- FNWY2004

With temperatures dropping is anyone else already noticing range losses?
This was my data from a 33-37 degree trip from ME to MA. I drive 80mph with cruise and driver + for 90% of my trip. Conserve mode, lowest ride height, 21ā wheels with covers removed, cabin temp 71. Started with 90% battery and ended up at 14% over 180 miles with no stops. 95% Highway and 5%... -

Correct, I had run grey conduit everywhere I either put or anticipated putting a TV. In my garage I never got around to installing a TV, so I used my speaker wires as a pull string for #6 individual conductors. -

Not sure why youād say that. 6/2 is rated of 65 amps at 75c per the NEC tables. 48 amps on a 60 amp breaker doesnāt exceed 80% load rating. -

Just because it works fine at lower amps doesnāt necessarily mean itās a bad breaker. You can still have a loose connection, but at lower load it doesnāt provide enough heat to get inside the breakers trip curve range. Loose connections can make it seem like the breaker has an issue. You are... -

As others have suggested, turn power off and check the torque of all connections from the breaker at the panel to the charger. This isnāt necessarily a load issue, it could be heat. High resistance connections create extreme heat. Heat will cause a breaker to nuisance trip even though the... -

So lucky I left some speaker wires in the wall and actually remembered where they were. Was able to use them to pull a wire snake through. Ran 6/2 copper in the wall without surface mounting conduit on the wall. -
