Great update. Literally filled out the survey yesterday for my R1S and had 2 of these things on it that I wanted to improve.

Never really came back after that one time other than once or twice I got a very faint smell. Nothing like the first time. Had it in for service a few weeks ago and all they could do was make sure it was working correctly.

Id bet PDR can fix that. I had a few imperfections on my car when delivered. They had a pdr guy fix it when I brought it back in for the first "service"/fixing issues.

Coming up on 1 yr, ~12k miles and still great. I did get a new drivers seat in there because of squeaking upper back area. I find it easier to keep clean than our BM interior. I just use a damp microfiber with a few sprays of interior cleaner and wipe it down every few weeks.

Thanks for sharing. I have a rattle in that same area and thought it was the front of the door panel. SC took it apart and put some foam or something in there and it didnt fix it. I will try this to see if it solves my issue.

Almost a year parking my R1T outside in the pacific northwest. No issues with paint or water intrusion or anything like that. My only issue parking it outside is water spots from sprinkler mist...on top of my ceramic coat. Oh well.

Those are your parking sensors. If you took it in recently they may have turned them off. Off road drive mode turns them off. You can turn them back on in your settings.

10+ in the first few months. Then maybe once a month after that. Only when I have "new" people in the car. Usually just stomping it while driving slow is enough to get a response.

Id like a solution for this too. Mine is pretty scratched and beat up already and I dont do anything crazy. I "re-black" with vinyl dressing every so often and its ceramic coated but it still gets beat up. I got the twraps protection for the paint side below that and it definitely helps with...

I have both R1T & R1S and I think they both improved a lot. Soaks up small bumps way better. Also, I notice my suspension is not as noisy now. This is how they should have been new but im glad they are able to make these changes with OTA's.

I really have to slam mine to get it closed. I had the SC look at it last time it was in and they "made an adjustment". Its still hard to close and get both latches. Usually my left side one locks but cant always get the right side one on my truck.

Thats good to know its not just mine. Makes sense since its been hotter than usual (summer...) and last time I drove it I left it full blast and it turned on full blast this morning. Guess Ill just keep monitoring it and run it only full sparingly.

I have one in our S and im glad we do. Our first overnight trip we didnt have it and felt we had to bring everything in to the hotel with us. Yes the windows are dark but with a flashlight you can see everything.

Mine was like this from the factory. Doesn't bother me that much though.
