  1. Dual Motor EPA Certification Application (Reveals HP, Efficiency, Range, MPGe Figures)

A few observations: 1. This seems like a relative Nothing Burger but it's nice to get confirmation from what we already knew 2. I suspect Regen will be less strong in the Dual vs. Quad. Quad Regen is incredibly usable 3. I can see an advantage to going from Quad to Dual except cost (a big...
  2. Ride quality R1S vs R1T? Should I be worried about reviews?

I've had similar previous vehicle vocabulary with you as well but probably lean heavier on the Lexus side of things. I've had an R1T and for me personally the suspension performance on the T was damn near amazing (except for the leaky air system and noisiness). My concern is more about the T...

Thanks for the tips! Very useful for us Mammoth visitors. Are you on the stock 21" or 20" ATs?
  8. Destination Charge - How is it calculated?

I was charged $1800 for destination fees. The truck was delivered to my home from El Segundo SC California. I didn't ask for the tow but when offered I gladly accepted. Looking back... $1800 it's the highest I've ever paid for destination charges on any new vehicle. Does this include the...
  9. Ride quality R1S vs R1T? Should I be worried about reviews?

It might be hard to believe but the R1T is better sorted than the S. To save costs the R&D for the S was much much smaller than the T and for understandable reasons. They had to make a big splash with the T. It was existential to come out guns blazing and they did a pretty good job at that...
  10. Front License Plate Mount that looks good and high quality?

I've been trying to find an STL for the longest time just like that! wow, that's great. would you mind sharing the STL if available?
  11. Regen braking in conserve mode vs other modes

I have been observing this a lot. Nerding out on stuff like is fun for me. I notice no difference in regen braking between Conserve and AP. However, I do notice a difference in regen when the battery is near full (85% or greater) and when the battery is cold. Are you sure you folks are...
  12. 48 amp bumped to 14 amp

My Juicebox 40amp showed 48amp then 15 amps. Later that day it smoked the internal relay. I'm almost certain it's due to the voltage dropping from the very old transformer in our building. Perhaps you have high voltage fluctuations at your current source.
  13. How noisy is your front end?

Anyone notice more noise in Conserve/FWD vs All Purpose/AWD?
  14. Has anyone successfully set up EVgo Autocharge+ ?

As of 2 weeks ago Rivian wasn't supported when I tried to set this up. Interesting to see appears to be now. Would love to hear feedback.
  15. Drive unit gear lash?

This is exactly the "fix" for both of my Toyotas (Tacoma and Land Cruiser). Greasing the various joints will get rid of it for about a season. It comes back. IMHO If this isn't a critical problem, i'm willing to let it go. I know... tough pill to swallow for a $80k vehicle, but i'm certain...
  16. Drive unit gear lash?

I had this on Day 1. I think it's slightly more pronounced in FWD mode. I've had worse on my Land Rover. I'm not going to worry about it until it becomes an issue. I believe it's coming from the CV axles. I don't believe the two motors at either ends of the car have a physical connection...
  17. Dual Motor range estimate

Thanks for that info! I'm still an old school locker guy but i'm willing to change. I haven't had the opportunity to hit any major sketchy trails on my R1T yet but seeing videos of all that excess wheel spin and having a lack of throttle modulation (basically let the computer take control)...
