Correct, clearing the code is hit-or-miss. I know all the tricks and can't get it cleared, have an appointment at the SC in a few weeks for a few items and this is one of them.

yes, they couldn't do the work themselves so they instructed me to go direct to Rivian, submit receipts, and they reimbursed me directly. Twice.

I've replaced 2 windshields so far, both $1900 out of pocket at Miami SC, Safelight reimbursed me a few weeks later.
