Thanks very much for the detailed review. I'm wondering if you are familiar with the suspension "clunk" that many of us have on our 1st Gen vehicles where it just feels / sounds like there is something loose especially when traveling at slows speeds over not so perfect road. Does it still exist...

You don't ever want to put that much down for a lease. With a lease, you don't own the vehicle, you rent it. If it gets totaled due to an accident, hail storm, etc you will never see that down payment again. Much better off leasing with 0 down and putting that money in a high interest account.

I'm actually in the same boat as computertom. Sold the quad R1T because of the suspension noise and every time I see one on the road (which is a lot in Colorado) makes me want to buy another. Appreciate the feedback about the DM being more solid and quiet. I will probably setup a demo drive...

Honestly, I didn't really pursue it much with them. The one time I had it in they said it was normal. I had opened a new ticket and over several phone calls with a service advisor they pretty much said yeah that's normal but bring it in and we'll take a look. I'm also not driving that much now...

That's pretty much exactly what I did; sold my truck Saturday and placed an order for a new one and hope by the time I take delivery that these things will be worked out.

This is different, this is the low speed creak that comes from the CV axle.

I'm certain there's variances... I have a buddy with one and his is definitely quieter. Not perfect, but better. And of course, there's always the human variance / factor... my wife doesn't hear anything :)
