R1T rear light bar issues after replacement

That's my guess, it's as if the light bar is on the brightest setting and nothing in-between. It's even brighter then the corners. It's going back tomorrow.

R1T rear light bar issues after replacement

I just had my rear light bar replaced by a body shop since it was damaged. However, it is acting very erratic. It only turns on or off as you approach the truck (no longer animates) and stays on for a few minutes while everything else is off. *front animation works* When I am near with my phone...

Rivian needs to update software fix for backup camera freezing while backing out of garage (going from dark to bright lighting)

So originally in early 2022 this was not occurring. After some updates later, I started to noticed it. I waited after a few more updates, thinking they may address the issue...🤔 For those of you that have not experienced it yet. Basically, as you are backing up the rear camera freezes as if it's...

    R1T Rollover Flipped!

Couldn't have agreed with you more! I have driven many powerful vehicles in different environments. Multiple factors play a roll in these situations including road surfaces. This seems to be human error but can also be mechanical. Hopefully, he gets it all sorted out.

What do you want addressed in the next OTA update?

I would like to see improvements in the screen resolution, also the adjustment in the depth of the black background especially in nighttime driving. Basically, the black is more of a dark grey (more noticeable at night) which makes the screens really bright. Dimming the screens dims everything...

⚠️ Rivian Recall: insufficiently torqued front upper control arm & steering knuckle fastener [official torque value = 90 lb-ft / 122 Nm]

I apologize, cause it didn't make any sense to me either when I read it again. I meant when the tech came and checked the current torque on the bolts they were not loose or below 90ft-lb. He tightened them up to 120ft-lbs as per his conversation with the engineers.

⚠️ Rivian Recall: insufficiently torqued front upper control arm & steering knuckle fastener [official torque value = 90 lb-ft / 122 Nm]

I just had the recall done and the 90ft-lbs was correct. Wheel didn't have to come off and new specs as per Rivian tech is 120ft-lbs/162.6NM.

    Home Charging Speed

Hi, so I am in the process of having a wall charger put in the garage for the truck. However, I am not sure what the big difference is between one electricians way of installing the unit with a split breaker (208v@60A) vs. another electricians way of putting another sub-panel (240v@60A) and how...

Rivian R1T CV axle failure missed by service center

Yup, same issue I noticed as soon as I took delivery in May. That same night, I took it for a spin and it was noticable in the front. It was more pronounced in "all purpose mode". However, in the lower suspension settings the noise is still there but not as bad as if it were higher up. I told...

    “ Vehicle battery issue”

Going back into the service center again but now it's this battery issue. I just hope they put it back together properly and don't damage other things along the way. I will keep you guys updated, truck doesn't go into the shop until Tuesday.
