Does Rivian provide a mobile charger when you buy a vehicle?

What are we thinking for pricing of the new electric cover?

Do you have a source for this? I talked to Rivian CS today and they didn't mention this at all.

Double check, but I think there are a couple campsites between Billings and Gillette that have NEMA 14-50 plugs you can use your mobile charger on. Pricing and requirements vary, but they are a good backup, even if you get a deep charge in Billings.

CS just said we are still on for today. So I guess we'll see.

I wonder if the next update email is going to be BOTH a delivery update (for those with pre-orders) AND a PBA update. Or do you think they would separate those emails and send them separately?

I just got off chat with Rivian. Apparently, I wasn't the first to note that I'm interested in a Preliminary Buyers Agreement today. I did email RJ. I suspect strongly that, at a minimum, pre-orders will get an email with any options we have early next week as far as PBA goes. This email...

I have a delivery date in 2023 so I’d do it. The transition section of the law would give me the option of choosing the existing rebate or use the 2023 rules when they go into effect 1 Jan 2023.

That makes sense. It's just when I update my config to try and match what's on the site, it's still lower than the image, by a couple grand, if I recall. Maybe they have some add ons, not listed, that bump it up? Either way, thanks for the info!

I think you'll like the 21s. They are a very nice ride and you can take the aero covers off and the wheels look nice. Plus, you can get some wraps from twraps and they will look slick. Congrats!!

Id say no because of the other text around what you copied. This section says that if you made a binding agreement before 12/31/2022 AND put it in service in 2023 that you MAY use the old rules. Since you bought in 2022, and how the law is written now, I bet you’d get the old rules rebate. Not...

NPR has a draft of the bill up. $7500, in two $3750 parts. Battery reqs may hurt Rivian, not sure. orders after 12/31/2022. MSRP Cap for trucks and suv is $80k. pre-march increase orders should be good (R1T)

i will but i don’t have my truck yet. This thread and @twraps saved me about $3200. we had our first mile mobile drive this week and really liked the Ride on the 21s. but not the look. Not any more. We changed our order and saved a ton!

I have it on my Model Y. It works well, but I would want Rivian to prioritize the lane-change-camera-view before working on a green light chime. But that's just me.
