  1. Rivian Assistant - Wish list

I wish Rivian Assistant would let me use Pandora like Alexa did. Very frustrating that it doesn't work.
  2. R2 In The Wild

Just saw two R2's in the wild in Wickenburg, AZ. They both had the same wraps. sorry I only got the last one, couldn't get the camera out fast enough!
  3. What Would Make You Dump Your R1 for an R2

The end of the warranty is a little scary to me. I've had a couple of fender benders that have been outrageously expensive to repair, though I doubt that will change with the R2. The warranty is the primary motivator for reserving an R2.
  4. About to lease a R1T. Need some help.

How did you get Rivian to replace the cover? I have a 2022 also and haven't had any issues, but would like to get it replaced with the new version before my warranty runs out!
  5. Rivian Update 2025.34 Now Downloading! - Upgrades / Fixes to Expect

Sounds like that's why the trade in values of the Gen 1's are so low, even with Rivian. Love to have a Gen 2, but the value of a 3 year old R1T with less than 30k miles seems ridiculously low.
  6. Rivian Update 2025.34 Now Downloading! - Upgrades / Fixes to Expect

Great idea, all except the depreciation on current G1's! The value loss is too much to consider selling or trading in to get a new one.
  7. The one Rivian feature that never gets old for you?

It's got to be the seat memory, which hardly ever works correctly...
  8. Rivian Lease Buyout Guide: Comprehensive Slide Deck

Love this discussion and all of the great comments and data. Unfortunately, it all frustrates me as Kansas is a state where you can't lease a Rivian yet! I've got a 2022 R1T that I'd love to replace with a new R1S, just can't consider a lease. The purchase option isn't a great option given the...
  9. Software Team Needs a Revamp

I'm in total agreement that the software quality control at Rivian could be better. Since getting the latest update, the features I use daily such as comfort exit, mirror tilting in reverse and kneeling when parked continue to be hit and miss! The drivers seat goes to my set position about...
  10. Rivian software stability is a real issue we don't talk about

Great thoughts! Everytime a new update comes out, something quits working or doesn't work like it did prior to the update. Luckily for me, it's not been quite as big an issue like you had. It's very frustrating and seems like software quality control is nonexistent.
  11. More power & faster in All Purpose than Sport Mode - confirmed with data / dragy

Good information, but I do have a question. I have a Gen 1 Quad and I've never seen the display screen you show. Where is it and how do I get there? Thanks, in advance, for your help.
  12. Experience with Pirelli tires?

Completely agree with your assessment. I've owned numerous cars over the years and the durability of the Pirelli's was terrible compared to any other tire brand! Only got 20K miles out of the 21's on the R1T and unfortunately, I had to buy new ones, due to a puncture Discount Tire...
  13. Kansas City Rivian Club helps out Chicago Rivian owner in need

Even though the haters are going to hate... GO Chiefs!
  14. Steering Wheel Fatulence

I've had it from almost the very first day, 9/22. SC looked at it but didn't fix it. Still happens everytime the steering wheel moves in or out. Learned to just ignore it...
  15. Cannot update charge limit

I had this happen to my '22 R1T. The fix was to remove my PAK in the app and then "redo" it. Since doing that it's not happened again. Rivian service suggested this would fix it.
  16. Garage Door Convenience Button

I had just the opposite problem. My garage door button on the steering wheel was on all of the time, regardless of where the truck was located, whether sitting or driving. As others have shared an infotainment reboot fixed it. Just a small annoyance...
  17. 22,500 mile service - has to be at a service center?

I spoke to the Kansas City SC during a recent servicing and was told that the 22.5K check would run around $260 and that the techs remove the bottom panels so they could do a more thorough inspection. Like most of you, I'm not convinced I really need to pay that out for simply a visual inspection.
  18. Phone WiFi Behavior

Since all the discussion about Connect+ started I connected my R1T to my mobile hotspot and since then have noticed odd behavior. Just curious if others are seeing the same thing. my truck will not automatically connect to the hotspot even though the hotspot is on 7x24. When I put in park and...
  19. NACS Adapter and Tesla Home Charger

Thank you both for the quick response. I was “hopeful” that I was oversimplifying things! Guess I’ll get to a local SC to make sure it works.
