I just added a note to the post I had forgotten about. I had to replace the lower control arm due to a cracked bushing. I think the stress of going to "high" ride height to "lowest" is a lot of stress on axels and bushings. I used to change the ride hight a lot more often, but now I stay in...
I had a 12v warning at the same time as the AC compressor problem. Rivian replaced them for no charge when they fixed the AC. Unfortunately I had already ordered a lithium replacement which I've been meaning to sell. I mistakenly only bought one because I thought it was a two pack. At least it...
It has taken me 1,390 days since delivery to hit 100,000 miles. That’s an average of 72 miles per day, every day that I’ve owned it. According to trip B, which I have never reset, I have spent 102 days of my life driving my truck. I’m considering producing a 100k review video to post, so I’ll...
I have 90,240 mi on my 5700 VIN R1T in 3yrs, 3mo. I charge at 8kW to 76% and run it down to 36% daily. I have lost 1 mile of range. At 100% charge it estimates 313 miles, which is technically 20 miles more than it had at delivery. I not concerned about battery degradation. I am a little...
So... About the AC problem. The fans ran at full tilt (surprisingly loud) almost all night last night, long after the battery had cooled down. Figured out how to go into service mode and confirmed AC condenser isn't turning on when called for. Tried to re-sync the 12v system to clear that...
Managed to slow charge enough to get home. Service appointment is Monday morning. I'll try to report back what the actual issue is. I couldn't find these symptoms anywhere before.

Hey friends, not sure if anyone can help, but my gen 1, R1T battery temp sensor isn't reading...
Fingers crossed it has Rivian cross bar attachments level with the ones on the roof for some serious accessorizing options. I've been waiting for this for a couple years now. It also needs to be easy to attach/detach, so I'm glad to see the spoiler intact.
I'm at 46k+ with only very minor issues. I'm very impressed with Rivian's service. I've heard stories from other owners about problems they've had and how honorably Rivian handled them. Definitely reserving that R3X asap.
Hey friends, I I thought I would share my thoughts about my new tires now that I’ve had some time with them. I hope some of you find this information useful.
TLDR - KO3’s are surely more durable for off roading, but the ATP’s are a better all around tire, in my opinion.

I hear what you’re saying. I understand branding. Rivian is a new company that most people don’t even know about. This is just my opinion, but I don’t think they have anywhere near enough brand recognition to roll with the compass logo alone and expect very many people to make the connection...
