  1. Frustration (and a warning to others)...

Sorry to hear that, and I can only imagine the pain. I'm very lucky to only be a couple miles from the Denver SC. They seem to be on their game and I've never had the car there for more than a day. They have also gotten very efficient in scheduling to ensure all needed parts are there on hand...
  2. Frustration (and a warning to others)...

To be clear, I do have insurance and don't have any problem using it if needed. I also don't anticipate having any issues with my insurance company covering the cost as I have full glass coverage. My issue is needing to go through insurance when I don't believe this was caused by anything I...
  3. Frustration (and a warning to others)...

Thanks for all the thoughts/comments: 1) I'm by no means a lawyer nor threatening any class action suit. My understanding was that I was not at all alone in having this issue from what I read, but maybe the differences are more stubtle. 2) I do have full glass coverage, but I hesitate to use...
  4. Frustration (and a warning to others)...

I'd certainly own up to it if I knew of any impact that would have caused it. The fact that its just a finger pointing game is what's frustrating to me. I guess I was naive in assuming that given all the prior issues and patience I've had that I wouldn't have to fight so hard for a glass panel...
  5. Frustration (and a warning to others)...

EDIT/UPDATE: I was able to speak with the regional manager who also put his head together with the local SC. They decided to waive the cost as a one-time gesture of goodwill. I don't know which of my several mitigating factors pushed them to cover it, but I'm glad its handled and I can't...
  6. How much for annual registration?

Be glad you're not in colorado, will be multiples higher than even CA. On a $80k car, you'd be looking at about $1425 in ownership tax (this is NOT sales tax, we get that too), and $78 more for the true registration fee. And yes, this gets paid annually, but the ownership tax does go down over...
  7. Colorado Checking In

Can't imagine a place better than Colorado for a Rivian. No power loss from altitude? 4 wheel power for the various conditions? Ground clearance for all the trails? Seating for 7, gear in front, gear in back, skis on top? CHECK, CHECK, CHECK, CHECK. Any other Colorado (Denver) pre-orders...
  8. What would you like to see on your new Rivian or from the Rivian company??

I love that, I really hope that's production spec!!!
  9. What would you like to see on your new Rivian or from the Rivian company??

Here's my wish-list...and yes some redundancy from people above but just consider that another vote! 1) Pre-wired AUX switches (a la the wrangler tow package). Part two here would be pre-placed mounting points for brackets for things like A pillar lights, winch, rear fogs. 2) Factory installed...
