Oil leak - maybe rear drive? [RESOLVED]
I had about 1500 miles on it when I noticed the leak. They came and picked it up on a flatbed. I would probably drive it gingerly.- SanClementeRivian

Spare tire availability in Rivian Shop?
Is the R1T supposed to come with a spare? I looked in the compartment under the truck bed and it is empty // no spare -

You have to hold the wristband right up to the center of the drivers door handle and hold it there for a few seconds until it finally opens (or locks). MTB Tailgate Pad
Thanks for sharing ā I bought the same S/M pad and it fit fine. One issue that wasnāt mentioned is the pad interferes with the tailgate flap / extender (spring loaded plastic piece that covers the tailgate / bed seam when tailgate is open). So for the time being this pad works, but itās still... -

Thatās actually how I found this forum! Was searching for a tailgate diaper for my mountain bikes. Rivian is picking up the truck this Friday and estimate 1 day to inspect the rear drive system. Weāll see!- SanClementeRivian

Never mindā¦ I found the fluid color decoder ring on another similar thread: Notes about the colors of fluids in the Rivian: - Brake fluid is Red - Drive lube is Yellow-Brown - Hydraulic dampener fluid is Blue - Coolant of engines and battery is Blue So I think mine is drive lube, and hopefully...- SanClementeRivian

I found oil spots in my garage, looked under the rear end and saw oil dripping down from the center of the rear axle area. The oil feels like a lightweight motor oil, not really like a brake fluid. I donāt know if this could be an oil in the drive motors or maybe something from the suspension...- SanClementeRivian
