Just doing some math maths, someone making $100k, $5k down and 5% apr at 60 months, it would be a savings of around $400 in the first year only. The next couple years it will be lower as interest to principal ratio goes down. I would say about $900 total for the three years left

Was intended for the OP but thanks for sharing. Its good to hear you actually get close to advertised range. The most I got from the Tesla was around 250 miles from the advertised 326 miles. If i can get pretty close to 300 with standard +, i might consider the r1s instead of waiting for the r2.
