  1. First problem with my R1S, and it's a big one. Bolt backed out

Definitely not aluminum. More than likely not TTY. Should have been installed with blue threadlocker. Cars also usually have 4 in the spindle.
  2. My Rivian Driver+ almost killed me

I've had two incidents with my Driver+, only one noteworthy. The first was a phantom braking occurrence... whatever. The second incident was on the interstate near Atlanta. While driving in the far right lane, the truck suddenly and unexpectedly pulled to the right as if it were rudely changing...
  3. PSA: Double Check Your Work Orders!

Sure. But it has been there on multiple occasions for these symptoms prior to the "impact," which is an overstatement of what happened. The obstruction was 2 feet or less from the front of the truck, too low for sensors, and I only hit it when I began to creep forward from where I was parked...
  4. PSA: Double Check Your Work Orders!

I asked the service advisor on the phone when he sent it if their shop rate was $200/hr (which it states on that page) and he said that it was and I had to explain to him that 7.3 hours, $200/hr, and $2060.00 don't go together. He either didn't understand or didn't care.
  5. PSA: Double Check Your Work Orders!

I haven't paid anything yet. I received that invoice today and declined that repair until I can inspect it myself. I have an early '22 build and know they have been trying to replace cracking subframes. I have been having some of the clicking and popping symptomatic of that. I don't want that...
  6. PSA: Double Check Your Work Orders!

On the other page there is a 100 diag, which they credited. There is also an alignment on there, which they charge $220 for.
  7. PSA: Double Check Your Work Orders!

I forgot to mention, this is from the Atlanta SC.
  8. Is there a plan to have a Rivian Parts Department?

I like that you're using stainless, but stick to zinc coated anywhere structural or where it could be struck by an object. Stainless is surprisingly easy to break.
  9. PSA: Double Check Your Work Orders!

Hello all. Today I bring you a potentially big problem with a stunningly simple solution. Double check your work orders. I have my truck in for an alignment right now and they called back and said that an obstruction in a parking lot I bumped into at 3 mph has bent my subframe and it must be...
  10. Georgia Rivian Club

Launch Green R1T working around Atlanta here! Alignment wanted.
  11. My Rivian completely dead from ~40% vampire drain after a month long vacation

This is where some sort of solar tonneau would shine... Transportation mode can't be the answer. What, then, is the point of the gear guard?
  12. New EA Chargers Are Failing in the Cold - Fixed!!?

This sucks. They finally started placing them in usable configurations.
  13. 📸 Post Your Best Photo Here For Year-End Rivian Mosaic!

I have an embarrassingly low number of photos. Hard to get good pics from the driver's seat! (Or at the Service Center)
  14. New Rivian R1 Software Introduction -- Roomy Entry and Exit

They roll out in "waves." It'll show up soon. :)
  15. New Rivian R1 Software Introduction -- Roomy Entry and Exit

Yeah. They really needed an A-pillar handle as a minimum on this truck. The handle on the ceiling is useless to me. I told them back in May I'm 180 lbs and I'm going to destroy this seat in no time.
  16. My Rivian Rollercoaster Ride

Hello all! I've really been too busy to be very active on here; although, I feel as though I should be. I was planning my first thread of substance to be a 900 mile range and charging report towing a 28' enclosed trailer, but that didn't happen. I'll explain shortly. This is a summation of my...
  17. Gear Tunnel and Cab Water Intrusion

To the OP, the way the tunnel doors are made, the seal and the plastic door trim have to be about perfect to prevent it leaking. If you simply don't close it all the way or if they adjusted it too far out for body panel matching, etc then it can leak. I'm not saying that's your problem, but...
