  1. What Took You the Longest to Get Used To?

Rade said they do not cancel out, and when trying to cancel them out, they blink in the other direction, and on other person agreed with him. I did try and let the blinker automatically turn off on its own when switching lanes on the highway like another poster suggested and it worked! I'll be...
  2. What Took You the Longest to Get Used To?

Maybe on your Rivian it does, but it doesn't on my R1T or R1S. Or on others posters who have chimed in on this thread
  3. What Took You the Longest to Get Used To?

But in a regular car, if it doesn't automatically turn off, you can simply half-tap it in the opposite direction and it will turn off. On the Rivian, you half-tap it on the opposite direction and it will start blinking in the opposite direction
  4. What Took You the Longest to Get Used To?

Most other cars sense the wheel has turned slightly to switch lanes, then when the wheel is straightened out, it mechanically turns off the blinker. The Rivian seems to be electronic and doesn't always sense when the wheel has been straightened out after switching lanes and deactivate the blinker
  5. What Took You the Longest to Get Used To?

I'm going try that, let it blink 3 or 4 times in the wrong direction and see if it turns off on its own. It's still not ideal because it's blinking 3 or 4 times in the wrong direction after trying to turn it off.
  6. What Took You the Longest to Get Used To?

Sometimes they don't turn off on their own once you've switched lanes. You try and turn it off by tapping it half-way in the other direction and it's starts blinking in the other direction instead. Drives me nuts.
  7. What Took You the Longest to Get Used To?

The turn signals, and I'm still not used to them.
  8. The unwanted first child (Gen 1) of a forgotten relationship?

I'm glad to hear this since we have two G1s, but can you please elaborate why you prefer the G1? I absolutely love our Rivians
  9. WARNING!! EVBASE ISSUE

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm in the market for some rockers on my R1S and possibly my R1T as well, I will not consider EVBASE due to their practices.
  10. Cybertruck sales appear to be down, way down.

    and cracked windshields
  11. Rivian reliability is a problem

My R1T has had several small issues, but most are very minor, easily repaired. I love this trucks performance and utility, well worth the minor inconvenience of the small repairs, no regrets purchasing the truck. In fact, if I were to total my R1T today, I would replace it with another R1T. For...
  12. Tariffs on R2 ? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS; POLICY DISCUSSION ONLY]

This. Trump threatened a China tariff of 100% or higher, now is just talking about adding a 10% tariff to China.
  13. Submit your questions for Wassym Q&A I’m moderating at LA Auto Show!

I purchased my R1T with 21" wheels. Then I purchased a set of 20" wheels from Rivian for off road use about 18 months ago. I was told Rivian had plans to enable owners to switch between wheels on the infotainment screen to reflect the expected range. I don't want to make a service appointment...
  14. Tinting roof glass

I tinted the roofs of my R1T and R1S last spring. Installer said the tint would actually keep the glass cooler than without the tint, don't know if that's true. I haven't had any issues with the glass breaking, fingers crossed. The tint helped with heat, but not enough her in So Cal summers. I...
  15. Ordering tires + wheels from Gear Shop?

I couldn't find my receipts, but I'm pretty sure it's out the door with the sensors included. I did purchase my R1T before the price hike, not sure if my wheel price was lower due to that
  16. Ordering tires + wheels from Gear Shop?

I purchased a set of 20" darks with AT and sensors for $5700, it included installation.
