Just removed the 40 seat so i can have better flat space for my dog.
Can anyone advise on the PVC material caps used to cover the bolts up? Right now I have about a 2’ x 2’ space to cover with probably a 3/4” rubber horse stall mat, once the cap covers are put on.
Just took mine out successfully…little trouble with the green quick connector, needed to take a flathead screwdriver attachment and use that to un clip it while i pulled it apart, otherwise my shoulder felt like it was going to dislocate at the angle i was at. Ill try to pull together a video
So just to clarify, this doesn't seem like a dealbreaker? Service mode will override it? Also, when exactly might one need to do a recalibration? it's not immediately clear to me...that's different from just setting memory of the seats right?
That’s a cool idea. I’ll have to see. I take delivery in a month.
He does way better on the fully flat floor of my f150 I just sold! So fingers crossed this works as well!
I wish the gear tracks in the back were in the second Row so i could anchor my dog in if i take the second row out.
I’m thinking of doing the single seat And putting a bed down for him…while retaining the other two just in case i need the seating. Might be a good happy medium
Has anyone heard any updates related to North Carolina deliveries? I'm seeing more around me in Charlotte but the continual "Processing" status hasn't changed, nor have I seen any state legislation updates either that might be more B2C EV friendly....
Ok that’s a fair point. I wish they would be more transparent about servicing. If that’s the issue what workarounds exist. Would we have to pay for towing, etc
In regards to having a non dealership network or whatever the case is in place? Yeah I remember hearing about that awhile back. I assumed they would just keep delivering from further away. Hope this doesn’t mean I’m in 2025…
Processing for me, sucks since I’ve seen a couple R1Ts in the area - I’m in Charlotte NC Which feels like a prime spot for an east coast service center.
In the mean time I have a unicorn in the Lightning Pro I’m driving.. just need to keep it under 200 Miles…
thank you, just trying to simplify all this. I get that its confusing, but I think the easiest way to think about it is that everyone who signs a BPA will be eligible for $7500 (assuming it doesn't get nix'd by the government)...if you don't, then you have to hope you get delivery before end of...
I'm reading through this whole thread and there seems to be alot of concern about the $80k limit but if you're signing a binding purchase agreement, that would be to lock in the 2022 tax treatment, in which case neither your income, nor your purchase price, are relevant...correct?
I couldn’t agree more. I think that’s why the silver looks so good too, cause it blends in. No matter what color you go with, that’s gotta go. I think it Accentuates the length in all the wrong ways. Makes you think you’re looking at a suburban even though the wheel base is shorter than the r1t
I like the idea of capping off the top of the storage bin too. Maybe a drop in piece that fits right in almost like an upside down bread baking tin or something. A dog bed could sit on that. I imagine reconfiguring the rear seats would be too challenging for Rivian to do anytime soon
