    Curious to see how these locations deal with the onslaught of EVs in the nearish future. I was in Leavenworth over the holiday and was blown away by the number of Teslas in line for the wall of superchargers in the village.

    I think realistically there will be more than 80k. That said, I think a lot of post-S1 reservation holders donā€™t realize how far away their deliveries are.

    I mean, I literally live 5 minutes away from one of the few actually operating service centers and Iā€™m not holding out hope that living in a primary market will push my deliver date up.

    While I am excited to hear that they will be letting those of us Adventure package holders know when to expect our vehicles, I have to agree with "most people's wisdom" and tell you that I think you're absolutely crazy with your prediction. I want you to prove me wrong, though.

    I need the max pack. I frequently do remote excursions and often times Iā€™m towing a raft or drift boat. Iā€™ll stick with it as I just donā€™t see getting mine until 2024 anyhow.

    I would have kept my 4Runner for "adventure" purposes and bought a Taycan 4S (my Rivian build is ~$100k). I love my 4Runner and the R1T is the only thing I can really see sacrificing it for.

    I agree, at the very least it will keep me from obsessing over when I may expect mine to arrive. I'd rather have a range than bombarding the forums/reddit looking at who is getting theirs and their numbers, etc.

    I mean, I didnā€™t get my configuration in until late summer/early fall 2021, so I wouldnā€™t read into it too much at all. Only advantage I have is living so close to a service center that maaaaaybe Iā€™ll see it sometime in 2023.

    Literally got a form email from CS after submitting a question. It was so cheesy and felt totally detached. Something to the effect of, ā€œYouā€™ll be cruising down the streets of <insert delivery city> in your R1T in no time!ā€ā€¦

    Agreed. Iā€™d also rather have a truck that is well tested, debugged, and whose quality has been assured than something that is rushed as a panic to keep up short term appearances.
