  1. Electrify America - Redesigned labels coming to charging stations

Everyone: Please give us more chargers at more locations and please make them reliable. Also, plug-to-charge would be really nice. Electrify America: We hear you and we’ve got BIIIIIG news, we’ve got new stickers! Happy?
  2. Oregon Looking to buy 22" wheels anywhere in the PNW

Hey, are you looking to cobble together a full set of 22" or do you just want a spare?
  3. Saw Three R1T's in Bend today! (maybe)

Hopefully there’ll be 2 of them in that lot this fall. I have my first guide contact this afternoon.
  4. Saw Three R1T's in Bend today! (maybe)

Haha! I love finding “real” people on the internet! We saw your truck at school this morning. My daughter had been quiet all ride and suddenly yelled “Rivian!”
  5. Saw Three R1T's in Bend today! (maybe)

Thanks! Looks like I’ll be able to swing by Great Notion for beer if/when I’ve ever got to bring it in for service.
  6. Saw Three R1T's in Bend today! (maybe)

I saw a white one in Yachats yesterday and I know there's at least one in Eugene. Anyone have a line on where the service center in Portland is?
  7. Delivery Canceled and Vin no long available

That's immensely frustrating! It would be totally reasonable of you to tell them to refund it all and walk away; it would also be totally reasonable to take the replacement car with the slightly different configuration; it would also be totally reasonable to tell them to remake it and get the...
  8. A 48hr Review of the Rivian R1T Launch Edition - AMA!

Thank you for the write-up! What are your plans (if any) to go out and use the fun off-road/camping/overlanding capability of the truck? Are you and your husband cycling enthusiasts? More importantly, can you please keep posting updates while I wait for mine? I've gotta scratch that itch....
  9. Aero inserts for 20 inch wheels to increase range?

My guess is that most of the range hit on the 20" wheel/tire package is actually from the tires and not the wheels.
  10. Rivian R1T - Our First Impressions | In Depth

While I'm generally interested in any new Rivian content, this video was a waste of time. Lots of conjecture about what might break or fall apart. Several instances of inaccurate information. Also, dude, put on a different T-shirt. An unbiased review while wearing a Giga-Texas shirt? Maybe but...
  11. Winter/Snow/Ice performance

In my experience driving Teslas in the snow for a number of years the regenerative braking is fantastic when paired with snow tires. It's primary benefit though is to help you maintain speed (not speed up) when going down hills and things but it is also really useful for applying just a little...
  12. Even more observations from Rivian test drive / First Mile

Thank you for checking on that. The Jetstream bars are what I have on my Model S. I have a HighRoad bike holder that's awesome. It sounds like I'll be able to just move it over. Thanks again.
  13. Even more observations from Rivian test drive / First Mile

Since I seem to have someone who might know the answer (and even what I'm talking about). Are the Rivian crossbars compatible with the T-slot mounting system? Parenthetically, I've always really appreciated the SKS Lock system. Especially the way it's standardized across products. I've got one...
  14. Seattle First Mile Test Drives Registration!

While I'm not known for my patience I did survive both the Model S and X launches with multiple year waits for both. Mostly it's that I DON'T WANNA WAIT! ;)
  15. Seattle First Mile Test Drives Registration!

I'm not all that far away but haven't gotten an email. Anyone know what the drop-in policy is?
  16. Allocation email arrived: full 175 shares.

    175. Long-term investment so I'm not particularly concerned about the day-to-day fluctuations.
  17. What's your 0 to 60?

Tesla claims 2.5 for my Model S P100D Ludicrous. I had a P85 that did it in 4.2. All I can tell you is that sub-3 seconds is quicker than essentially anything you’ll encounter on the road and being quicker than that is is just d*ck measuring.
  18. Rivian Improvements Over Your Current Vehicle?

To be fair I’ve been doing that in a Model S since 2013 but I think it’ll be even sweeter when it’s a pickup.
  19. Rivian Improvements Over Your Current Vehicle?

I currently pick between my Model S and the family Suburban when I leave for the day. I’ve got to go through the list of the things I need to do and see which one I’m bringing. Some days there’s a kid with a bike that needs to be picked up, some days I’ve got to also have his golf clubs in the...
