  1. Center console disassembly? Anyone?

Thanks for the response. If you decide to pull it apart, I'd love to hear what ya did. Have a great one!
  2. Center console disassembly? Anyone?

Haha.. I won't be shy about moving the seat forward and backward. That one I have down to an art form. Not sure if you saw my edit about the upholstered part of the top of the console doors... Have you pulled that one apart?
  3. Center console disassembly? Anyone?

Much thanks! I will try but I'm super nervous about screwing this up. I suppose it'll be easier to get to the panel clips by sliding the seat all the way back and then all the way forward. By any chance, have you pulled the upholstered covers off of the butterfly doors with a goal of getting...
  4. Center console disassembly? Anyone?

I only need to remove the butterfly doors module. How much has to be disassembled to just get that out? The pleather is ripping.

After my service, it’s much quieter. Tell the SC team to verify the grams of refrigerant. The SC evacuated and recharged mine to the proper amount and it’s cooling better.
  6. Locking and unlocking noises while driving

yep. It’s the valves/solenoids etc that are managing your suspension. Working as designed. It’s just that it’s not a quiet design. Mine have done this since I picked it up. I thought it was an issue but tech told me it’s normal.

So, I've been having this loud compressor with all the vibes. I just got it back from the SC. As I understand it, they evacuated and re-pressurized the system to the "right" level. It could be an over pressure issue in the compressor - i.e. too much refrigerant. Mine seems to not be doing...
  8. AND SO IT BEGINS - NEW..... $200 A YEAR, ELECTRIC VEHICLE REGISTRATION TAX - TEXAS!

I think the states and govt need to dump the gas tax and rather have a tax on tires. Tires create road wear. The more tire on the ground the more you have to pay in taxes - ie. a fair share. Tires that don’t get used primarily for roads, like farm equip. or construction equipment transported to...

And I find that if I do that, the air comes out warm for a while until the system figures out that the compressor needs to be on at high speed.
  10. Rivian R1T OWNERS MANUAL Guide is here! ?

I was surprised (a little bit) to see how easy it was to get into the front trunk. Remove three screws and pull a cable. Couldn’t take very long, right? Might need to look into some security screws or another mechanism to keep it safe.
