NACS Adapter reservation emails are now going out!!!!
The email justs asked if we want to opt-in to receive the adapter at no charge. Doesn't mean it ever has to be used. Im curious what reason would anyone have to opt-out? -

I took mine to Discount Tires as they seemed most familiar with Rivian. Did the service for no charge. -

XM Radio! Finally! I am curious what is actually lost if I choose not to pay for the LTE service? With satellite radio I really don't care if I don't have Spotify, Tune In or the other apps. I can still connect with blue tooth if I really need something different. -

I havent calculated exactly what I have spent to charge as at this point it really doesnt matter. However if I had purchased a Tundra instead at around 25mpg the gas alone would be between $1200 - $1300. I know i havent spent anywhere near that much to charge. I saw that article and call BS on it. I have around 7K on my R1T and have maybe spent $200 to charge, not to mention spending $0.00 on oil changes. I usually charge at home but even at the inflated prices of 3rd party stations, I think it is still less than gas.- 87Ducks

Interesting. I had some minor fit & finish issues with my R1T and the Portland service center was extremely helpful. Nice clean waiting room and friendly folks who were willing to answer my questions - no matter how stupid. I didn't need it, but they had arranged for a rental car and/or Uber...- 87Ducks

Anyone else's truck stop kneeling?
A related question: Does anyone think excessive kneeling may cause unnecessary wear to the suspension? I have a relative with a Land Rover (or some other maintenance nightmare manufacture...) who said he has to send his to the shop at least once a year to have his suspension repaired and parts...- 87Ducks

A Rivian buyer got his dream car after a 3-year wait. Days later, the car was dead and he faced a $2,100 bill.
Saw a similar story where an R1T was high centered with no rubber making contact and somehow it was a vehicle defect. I always wonder if Ford & GM are behind these stories.- 87Ducks

Conserve Mode: $125 a month tire cost!
Glad i found this thread. I was about to post asking if there was a downside of conserve mode. Sounds like the consensus is it should be only be used in steady state situations in conjunction with cruise control on open highways or if trying to squeeze a few extra miles to reach a charging... -
