I just experienced this today regarding my hvac issue (at a certain temp, my truck makes a puddle of water, and my driver side floor is wet) and I got the diagnostic fee charges (times two!), I almost panicked because my previous work orders were already 0 without diagnosing, but also the work...
Hi all,
I have the oem scorpion AT's on my R1T and I am planning on switching to the Goodyear Territory AT's (or possibly a different one, still weighing options) but I have a full size spare tire with the scorpion AT's.
Has anyone gone through anything similar? did you have to take off the...
O geez.. to start, my previous car was an ICE sedan and an alignment from an independent shop is $125~$150. For a heavy EV with air and hydraulic suspension and manufacturer gatekept vehicle—$287 makes sense to me.
for everyone though, let us not confuse tire balancing with 4 wheel alignment 😁...
aaaand still no Gen 1 Key Fob in stock 😆
just kidding, you can still contact your local SC for this. But the spring sale was a nice little treat! i was hoping Gary plush was gonna be on sale though hah!
this is like checking each fuse in the fusebox for something that's an easy fix like replacing the 10 year old battery
i think any adept mechanic would start at the wheels/tires, then checking for play in 3-9 /12-6 position, and so on
This used to be an issue for me when my 12v needed to be replaced. My weird workaround was rolling the window down, locking the car with the key card from the outside by tapping it on the handle, unlocking it again - then shift gears LOL!!
so might be worth checking that out if all else seems...
I love that my truck is more than an EV. It can offroad stock, go through floods (at/below limit ofc!), give me a nice comfortable ride, and still do truck things. It’s more than just an A to B car, it got a lot of personality 😎
"betterment not detriment" and "r2 reservation holder" seems to be the two phrases that show up consistently in the posts and articles written for it :movember:
regardless of everything, hopefully this gets resolved soon.
I am curious though with all the commotion so far, has there been any updates from rivian?
This was my first ever EV AND truck. I have always been skeptical about EV’s but Rivian was the ONLY brand i considered. So keep in mind Ive been driving gas car sedans/coupes for YEARS.
ANYWHOO, here is mine:
- when backing up into a lot, i didn’t realize how tiny of a steering wheel turn...
This is really helpful, i have always been curious since this is only offered to select areas/owners in TX and I cant seem to find a good amount of information there and from rivian directly. Hopefully in the future, it can cover more states and claims/payments wont be something the owner...
get yourself a used r1t. the price has already gone through the spike of depreciation and you can still find fairly priced used ones in the market.
just do your best to choose one that is low in miles but high in tire tread as much as possible. i honestly shouldve thought of not just the low...
Hmm. Every service center seem to be different. My local service center always had a loaner available for me even if my car just stayed for 1 night with them. But also, they're not as backed up as some of these other terrible SC's.
This was for the past few months btw!
i guess some of us assumed that you were the one who deemed it defective, then the technician confirmed it was that's why 😅
This isnt a personal attack on you, but i feel that this is important to call out to everyone:
one thing people forget with all cars is that the spare tire pressure also...
I had my tailgate latch replaced as well, it wouldnt hold and the caralways thought it was open so it would mess up the parking sensors. One workaround to make it stay closed is to close it and hold it for a good 10 ish seconds with both hands on the far left and far right side and it SHOULD hold.
0.39 cents /kwh within the city for me on peak hours, off peak are 11pm-4/6am for the chargers I stop by. Off peak is average 10 cents cheaper per kWh
0.49 cents mostly for RAN and other chargers on a roadtrip, but tesla superchargers i think remain at a 0.39 cents
And a $55-$75 hold so far...
I think im gonna pull the trigger on some territory's the next few weeks then get an alignment. RIP wallet but my tread is low and i cannot afford that danger.
anyways, ive looked up the rivian warranty regarding "switching" the oem 275/65/20 to 275/60/20 and rivian used a blanket statement...
