  1. How can I make the "Bed Camera" the default backup camera?

Yep, fair. And I'm glad it has a setting for this case, though I do think it's a bit unfortunate that regulations restrict it to just when the tailgate is down, as I also have a hitch-mount bike rack. :-/ Yeah, that seems pretty on-brand for government regulations to just ignore how pickup...
  2. How can I make the "Bed Camera" the default backup camera?

OK, I just called Rivian and asked. The setting does exist, it's just not on by default (at least not in this software version) it's in a really odd place in the menu system: Settings -> Autonomy, way down at the bottom past the actual autonomous driving settings: I'm happy the setting exists...
  3. How can I make the "Bed Camera" the default backup camera?

EDIT: You are correct that it's an option, it's apparently just not enabled by default in whatever software version came with this vehicle (or maybe the dealership configured it this way?) I called Rivian and they told me where in the menu system this can be enabled (photo in the newer post)...
  4. How can I make the "Bed Camera" the default backup camera?

Whenever I'm trying to back into my driveway, which is a tight squeeze, the R1T automatically switches to the "Rear View", which is just a 4K closeup of my hitch ball. This is a useful view when trying to hook up my trailer, but the other 99.9% of the time, I actually want a back up camera so...
  5. Shopping for a Pre-Owned 2022-2023 R1T

It's what WhistlinDiesel keeps getting arrested for in Tennessee 😑
  6. Cargo crossbar mount?

I watched Kyle's video where he went to Weistec and they went over the whole installation of his Ruff Rax system. I honestly thought it all looked very well designed, and the video made me want to buy their products... right up until I saw what they were charging for them. $2600 for a roof rack...
  7. Routing power from Gear Tunnel to Bed, keeping Tonneau V2

So, how it would work is that the bank of RV batteries in the gear tunnel would be slow charging from a dedicated LiFePO charger that's plugged into the R1T's build in 120V power outlet in the tunnel, drawing <10A from that outlet. Then, when I need 240VAC, the batteries output to a 7.5kW AIMS...
  8. Routing power from Gear Tunnel to Bed, keeping Tonneau V2

I'm awaiting pickup of a 2026 R1T which has the Powered Tonneau V2. One thing I need that the R1T doesn't offer is 240V/30A power in the bed, but I already have the hardware to do this, which will be moved over from my ICE truck (where it's all in the bed). The R1T-specific issue here is that...
