i forgot to follow up on this but as others mentioned the frunk heat was a consideration, we decided it wasnt worth the effort and $275 for the new cooler to try to make it work. Ended up returning the engel cooler, put all our luggage in the frunk and used the nice larger cooler we already had...

I cant speak to the issues you are having but I will say I have purchased 2 preowned rivians in the last few months from the same SC, and had 2 very different experiences. the first one was great my 23 r1s has been amazing no issues, the guide spent over an hour getting us setup and teaching us...
