Initially, we had one 14-50 plug and I charged my lesser-driven EV via slow 15A 120v plug. When we moved, we had two Tesla wall chargers installed, one on either side of the garage.

A few times, but not a lot. I will generally only do +5 over the limit, and on rare occasions +8. So, perhaps there if the traffic was really moving I'd set to 78... but that in no way means I'm averaging 80mph for any significant stretch... Yes, that does seem true. We've only been in the PNW/INW for a few years; in the past, we would frequently drive from WV to MN (~1000mi), and have done many other long drives, but mostly in the midwest where I think the max speed limit is 75mph, and in many cases 70mph.

Have been running them on our TM3 and TMY for years.

A few weeks ago someone pointed out to me that their location was opening slots exactly 24hrs ahead of time. After that insight, I also initially found this to be the case, but then they shifted to 3 days out (still at the same time). They've now moved to 5 days out, at least for some locations...

Fantastic. Does it have camp mode? I thought I saw a review that it didn't yet. If not, hopefully that's next.

For those that have done a test drive, here's a stupid question: what time of day are they loading the daily slots? I've checked several dozen times and I've yet to get it to show me anything other than "check back soon".

Interesting. I reserved just a couple day earlier than you, but my window is wider (Sept - Nov)... I wonder what accounts for the difference. I have two saved configs, both with coastal interior, one with forest green exterior. I'm also a couple hundred miles from a Rivian location.

If you have never owned an EV before, you may not appreciate how the charge curve impacts a road trip. i.e., the higher your state of charge, the slower the charge rate, and the curve isn't linear. So, if you attempt to charge from near zero to full 100%, you may very well be sitting at that...

Excellent! Your totally made up estimate concurs with my optimistic outlook that I have a chance of getting one before the end of the year!
