  1. Gen 1 unresponsive after high kw L3 Charging

No clacking noises. The charge sessions seem totally normal until they finish. Then the drama starts. The service centre is still digging into it. Hopefully some news in the next couple days.
  2. Gen 1 unresponsive after high kw L3 Charging

Here's a charging dilemma that I haven't seen elsewhere on the forum. It first occurred while road tripping last summer. I charged to 80% ish at a Tesla station, at around 220 kw, and everything seemed normal until I stopped the charge and tried to drive away. Pressing the brake did not allow me...
  3. Does anyone use crossbars + surf/sup mount for a large SUP?

I ordered the supdawg with the truck and regretted it at first as it sat in the box for a year. Started using it after getting a second board, and used it a lot this summer with two 12'6" touring boards on it. You have to stagger them because of the fins (one of ours is a hard board) which makes...
  4. Any experience with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent SL 275/65 20?

Well, the trip meter for the last 8000k is showing 3.25 kiloms per kwh, around 2.02 miles. But that's a lot of short trips in wet coastal weather, and ripping up the fsr to hike or bike. On longer trips, it's been better, but I can't give you a specific number.
  5. Any experience with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent SL 275/65 20?

Not the SL, but I've had The LT version on since the spring, and after 14,000 km I think they are fantastic. I run them at 55 psi and haven't seen a marked difference in range. I'm not sure why you'd want to go with the lower rated tire on such a heavy truck. If you plan on more serious...
  6. SOLVED: my dash rattle found and fixed

My dash rattle seemed to be coming from just left of the steering wheel, but this was the culprit. You've restored my sanity, such as it was. Thanks so much for posting!
  7. Buy British Columbia Collision Comprehensive and New Vehicle Replacement Insurance at BCAA

I got nearly $900 back from ICBC today, and moved all the extended coverage to BCAA. The Replacement Plus coverage is $390 for the year, though I'm sure that will go up in the future. Like you, I didn't like the terms of the vehicle replacement coverage when I picked up the truck. Thanks so...
  8. Should the tie downs on the roof have the same rubber inserts as the truck bed?

Thanks for the update, Rivy. I guess that's why no-one responded to my service inquiry...
  9. Should the tie downs on the roof have the same rubber inserts as the truck bed?

Are you having some other issues looked at as well? An annoying thing to have to go back to Richmond for. Please do let me know how it turns out.
  10. Should the tie downs on the roof have the same rubber inserts as the truck bed?

I've had my R1T for a nearly a week and just noticed it's missing the insert on the roof as well. It looks like yours is a bit rusty under there. Have you reached out to service about this?
  11. Canadian Financing PSA

Thought I'd repost this. Hoping that someone with more experience can chime in. Is this what front-loading or precomputed interest looks like? The clause where I promise to repay the loan amount and interest for the full term has me alarmed and confused.
  12. Canadian delivery timeframe

    T. Apparently my truck is built and at the factory. Not sure if it will be shipped with BlixemT's and digdog's. I should get an update when it leaves the Normal.
  13. Canadian delivery timeframe

    December 2020
  14. Canadian delivery timeframe

No official guide contact yet, but got my 8 steps today and was surprised to see a VIN on the paperwork. Not sure what that means as I'm supposed to be May - June for delivery. It is rather exciting. :sun:
  15. Canadian delivery timeframe

    R1T.
  16. Canadian delivery timeframe

My Configuration page still says "Processing..." but I see May 1 to Jun 30 in the dev tools snoop. Formerly April to June, with a Dec 2020 reservation. I also got the "confirm your configuration" email from customer service yesterday, and the intro email from the guide team arrived right after...
  17. Vancouver Open House (Nov 19/20)

I meant to ask about progress (if any) on the adventure network for Canada, but forgot. Did any of you broach the subject?
  18. Vancouver Open House (Nov 19/20)

Plaid and puffy jacket is tech-guy camo. Ya gotta blend in. First time actually seeing the R1T. The thing is really impressive. My wife is a hundred percent in on it, so that's a huge win. I'd say it was a hugely succesful day for them, by the number of people there. Decided not to bug RJ but...
  19. Canadian delivery timeframe

That's a year and a half before me. You deserve to be in the first batch.
