    This looks exactly like I expected based on Rivianā€™s/XPELā€™s description of this kit. Itā€™s a pre-cut kit and they donā€™t wrap edges. Thatā€™s why itā€™s cheaper than other offerings because it takes less time and labor to install. You get what you pay for. Personally I think itā€™s definitely worth it...

    I noticed your delivery window is Sept-Oct with OC, that's super interesting. I had assumed (for no real reason) the earliest OC windows were Oct-Nov, like mine is. That should mean we should start to see pictures of the production OC interior any week now, and first deliveries hopefully next...

    My OC range is Oct-Nov. Iā€™m not expecting them to deliver a single OC until October earliest, but Rivian has been early for a lot of people on their delivery ranges so who knows.

    I wouldn't expect any OC deliveries to begin until October at the earliest. They said "Fall" in their email, and it's not Fall yet. If you want to get technical, the start of fall is September 22nd.

    Throttle lag under hard acceleration

    Switch to Sport Mode. Rivian has actual real drive modes with different throttle mapping for each, unlike Tesla. I have an M3 Performance too and the nonstop jerky throttle is annoying. Iā€™d appreciate drive modes there too.

    So did your Guide confirm this is legit and you can expect your OC delivery soon? Because if so thatā€™s pretty huge news. They said no OC deliveries until Fall, but if youā€™re getting one this summer then theyā€™re ahead of schedule.

    Bottom-line takeaway here. Getting mad isn't going to magically make your R1S come sooner. You either continue waiting for it if you want it still, or explore non-R1S alternatives. The choice really is that simple.

    When were these pics taken? Or do you know when the truck was built? Trying to determine if it was a recent build OC or one from last year. Tony's email specifically mentions the wood undergoing tweaks so we should expect a difference between early OC builds and "production" ones later this year.
