#4 - you have a legacy vehicle mindset. Rivian vehicles (and Tesla) are subscription based tech platforms with wheels; like a smartphone. So yes, we all have expectations and Rivian does have obligations to make it better over time. Or, like a smartphone, we will dump Windows mobile for iPhone.

No. It’s horrible. That was the correct word. I will just continue to use my phone for navigation which is safer than trying to follow a Rivian map that zooms so far in that you can no longer see where you need to be going.
Google Maps is great. Rivian auto-zoom layered on top is horrible. The system still automatically zooms in during an interchange, so far that you can’t see the map at the most critical time. Still a horrible experience and still leaving me to desire Apple CarPlay so I can use native Google...
