I turned off the phone has a key, unplugged all USB, and 110 plugs ( fridge) let car sit for 1 hour. Locked, not charging. I guess this sleep mode. I used card key to open truck, and was no longer stuck in sport mode. Hope this helps.

Today I turned off my app that was running in the background on my phone. not plugged in, Truck reset after 30 minutes, no more Sport mode. I can tell the difference.

@Johnus . what model Rivian do yo have. I just got back form New Years eve vacation.. from New Orleans!! plan on using my truck to go to work. still stuck in Sport mode, which for now is ok.

I got a 2025, 300 miles, dual motor, NOT performance. but yesterday Sport mode showed up, so I selected it. now y screen looks like yours. no options to select any other mode. BUT wow is it fast! I'll wait till you get a resolution, I don't mind being stuck in this fun mode!

So, i took out my frunk to try and retrofit a 12 v outlet. But then i had to run a quick errand. Truck gave me the "Frunk escape switch inactive ". So i quickly reinstalled frunk tub, and reconnected both side plugs. When i got in my truck "Sport" mode was available. So I selected it! Omg truck...

Not true for 2025. My doors are locked, even got my bluetooth turned off, and my frunk closed from the app.

Good thread. My phone, Cat S61 was going crazy on the pad, opening apps. screen on and off. I never carry traditional phones. Mine is made for Caterpillar company. very durable. Disabling charger was simple. thanks for the tip. Doesn't this disable the pad for using the key card?
