I had a āwave your foot round madly under the back of the car, hoping the sensor detects you and lifts the liftgate before you lose your balance carrying a bunch of stuffā feature previously. Definitely shouldāve tried the kick to open option. It may have been more successful. šš
This can also be done with Siri Shortcuts on an iphone. VERY useful. I have several shortcuts. You name them as you wish. Siri, open/close Rivian hood. ā¦Rivian liftgate. Display Rivian - opens everything to show off. Secure Rivian - closes everything and locks.
Of course my Riv is in the...
The 18mo deal disappeared for awhile a couple of months ago - I sent an inquiry and a good chat with a rep - they extended the offer again. I jumped on itā¦hope to never need it, but will likely hit 60k this weekend⦠nice to have.
It would be great if the second screen converted to a control screen while in camp mode, but it doesnāt seem to do anything special. Ordered from Alex for exactly this reason⦠not climbing over the front seats anymore.
Seems like so much more could be done with second screen functionality...
Agree with increased infotainment crashes⦠first time ever have I experienced those while driving. Twice in past week on the highway with Driver+ engaged. Reset done when arrived home after the first one. Second was a of couple days later with flawless function between. Had existing SC appt...
Nearly 100% of the time app location is wrong. Usually shows place I parked before, not current. A force close of the app and restart always sets it right. The truck seemingly always gets it right as Gear Guard will be active and acquire videos even the the app says its at home (and Gear...
Had exactly the same issue with bulbs, when dimmed, at one location⦠around the primary suite bathroom mirror. Just bought different brand of bulbs and replaced - no issue any longer. Entire home is LED dimmables and this was the only place where we saw the flicker. Even with the same bulbs...
Thanks for taking the time for write up - greatly appreciated. Been reading about XCare for some time and nearly hit the button a few times. Your experience helped. Just hit 55k⦠getting nervous about turning 60. Just nabbed the 5yr/100k warranty. Hope itās never needed. š¤
Hopefully it gets fixed, itās a very useful feature. I find that it does not work on Apple Maps, but does work on Google maps.
iPhone 15 Pro on iOS26. Did forced kill of apps and restarted phone with no impact.
Was a great time - canāt wait for next year. Thank you for all the effort of putting it together.
ā¦Hope youāre enjoying your Michigan souvenir⦠sandā¦. endless sand⦠in everything!
Had nearly the same sound on my gen1 at delivery. Mobile replaced the dash as there was a missing foam gasket of sorts from around the speaker grill. New dash had it, original didnāt. Been great ever since. I recall tech relayed that it was not an uncommon omission, at the time.
Seen it a few times on Tesla chargers I know are older stations. Moving to another open spot has resolved it. A rare event for me. Never get the warning at any other DC charger (multiple brands) nor at home.
Holding the shift stick up to go into Neutral is most reliable for me. The screen always seemed to pop to cameras just as I was about to push the neutral button. Practiced a couple of times before I tried it for the first time at the car wash. :)
Alexa can help turn them off, if you have it voice enabled. The problem is, she goes to sleep eventually too, so canāt turn them on in the middle of the night. At least of last summer when camping. After getting situated, could then just say, āAlexa, turn off interrior lightsā or something of...
