Is there a reason that a tailgate pad doesn't work? Especially with the build in lock, I'm a bit confused.

^^this... As far as I've heard the answer is no. I think that it comes back to controls architecture updates that were intentionally made to this end on Gen 2. As a gen 1 owner, it's been a really tough pill to swallow that our architecture is already obsolete when it comes to these feature...

Dedicated winters FTW(I'm running cooper winter claw 20", can't suggest enough for snow and ice. Negligent efficiency loss compared to my ATs). Minneapolis on the stock pirelli 20" were a real eye opener the to weight of these vehicles with Regen braking making things ... Different.
