Ha - I went through 3 motors! Luckily under warranty. It was that old coolant leak thing in the motor these motors are known for. But yeah I almost made money - check this out. I got it for 17,500 with only 29k miles. I sold it for 15k with 70k miles.

I was like 3 months out of warranty and begging for my Rivian delivery notice :-P Sold it and towed it 300 miles away to new owner.

I'll be number two on that board - just signed up. 42,200 miles in one year. Launch R1S - several road trips and over 700 food deliveries on the side just for excuse to drive the thing! Had to have the rear drive unit replaced as it started leaking about a month ago.

What the heck they covered the tow and everything right up front. Are you sure they weren't just giving you the heads up you would be on the hook if it wasn't covered by warrenty? They told me that on the phone - I understood but I never had to pay for it upfront. Keep us updated - this drive...
