Yeah, plug I think would be fine for any shop to do since they don't have to lift it. But how long do you think a plug would last on the 21-inch road tires? (The screw is in the flat tread area, not the sidewall.) -

Timing from R1 Shop -> Delivery?

Front License Plate Mount that looks good and high quality?
Chiming in here today to say that I just received my plates finally and went with the Brainexploder Merch tow hook mount and it worked perfectly. Not visible in bird's eye camera view, and hasn't impacted sensors at all. One downside is that it does not include the locking screw for security...- gutsack

Weird one but I picked up my R1T in late March and now that my license plates have finally arrived I went to install the back plate and found… nothing. Just 4 square holes with no way to attach a plate. (See attachment.) Feels like something is missing. Was the truck meant to come with inserts...- gutsack

To clarify: I'm not sour at all, and glad you received the package! I just think at 90k, Rivian should include a welcome package to everyone at this stage as they're building out their core audience of early owners. The care package thing is weird. Seems very random, and only certain people get it. I picked up my truck a month ago and there was no care package or note at all. No idea why certain people are receiving them. Rivian should just give a package to all owners, honestly.- gutsack

Completed wonderful 2 Week R1T Road Trip: WA-OR-CA
Sounds like an awesome trip, and very good to hear about the positive experience all around. We just got our R1T two weeks ago here in the Portland area, but we're planning our first drive down to Crater Lake soon and excited to do more up-and-down-the-coast trips as well.- gutsack

Funny that just 3 weeks ago, my guide said "Manual tonneau covers will be available in the Gear Shop any week now"... I mean, technically they're not wrong since I guess some time late 2023 will be "any week". 😅- gutsack

First Look at Premium Charging Plate
Received mine today and got it installed, works really well and looks nice! Will note that the way the top cover piece was packaged caused it to be scratched it a bit in my box... there was packing material between the box and the top plate, but none between the top plate and the main plastic...
