I'm here in the CT service center where I really hope they can fix the driver+ nightmare where I lose cruise control. The service writer also said there is a TSB where they need to take apart and remove the bedliner to mitigate a possible water intrusion issue where water can somehow work its...
Every once in a while I see folks, possibly new owners, complain about the quality of our stereos. I did make some small changes in the equalizer settings, which seemed to improve the quality. I've had my R1T for a couple years now.
My question is how loud to people listen to their systems? I...
This is a recurring issue with my poor truck. I thought they finally figured it out when the Shelton SC replaced a driver assistance control module. This was last Sept. And stormbreaker has been fine for over 6 month.
These sensors and control module allow you to use cruise control. So kinda...
I wanted to ask if anyone else had this happen. My neighbor up the street who I've always been friendly with got a replacement for a old suby with a 100k mile small SUV. I asked him about it and wasn't he concerned about the high mileage etc. He said that it will last a couple hundred thousand...
Jeeze, I dont recall the name of the screen for range/efficiency, but Gary looked a chilly blue this afternoon since its in the 20s today and the pack is 24 degrees. LOL
Up here in the north east, had a winter storm yesterday which froze up the folded up side mirrors. Being concerned that the motors would break, I disabled the auto opening and closing of the mirrors. Is that common practice for us northern folks?
The gentleman asked which country is Rivian made in. He knew what the Rivian was, but appeared content when I said it was manufactured in Normal Il. Kinda wild that ppl think its made elsewhere.
I dropped off the truck on Monday morning at the Shelton SC. The folks were great as always. I was allowed to work remotely from there until I got freed up to get a uber ride home.
The shop has messaged me via the app throughout the repair process. For a little background, I took logs when the...
Hey all,
So my driver+ features are hit or miss. Most days, no errors on the screen, and I can use the cruise control. Today was great for ride into work. Yesterday though, quick trip to the gym after working from home and the alerts for driver assistance were down for the ride to the gym and...

Brought my truck in for another visit to fix the driver assistance issues, and pulling into the lot I see a side lot full of Amazon delivery vans. Obviously no idea why they're here. I see them all over my area delivering packages. I even chat with the folks who seem to really like them.
I...
Anyone else run into this issue?
The app indicates that its attempting to reconnect, but once I get back to street level, there is 5 bars of LTE, and still wont work. Even the radio doesn't work.
I end up listening to Amazon music/news for the ride home.
When I get to drive, truck connects to...
I know Rivian is pumping lots of $$ into various new buildouts. R2, that autonomous driving, new functionality, etc etc. Those folks are uber busy. I get it.
There is one function that I think other companies have such as Hyundai that had the funny commerical....SMAHT PAHK!
At work all minus...
Has it ever become known whether one of R1* were involved in a fatal crash? ☠ What I mean is, a occupant whether the driver or passenger of a R1* was clobbered in a crash?
We've all seen the after effects of our vehicles in a crash but everyone has always been well protected.
Just wondering.....
A while back I answered a survey on new vehicle when I brought stormbreaker home. They snail mailed another survey this time on smartphone app for Rivian. Anyone else get one?
So last week I rec a call from Rivian stating that they wanted to swap out the low voltage batteries. Seeing all the other threads about it I figured it was just my turn. We agreed on Tuesday at 1pm and that it would take aprx 1 hour to complete.
Thankfully traffic wasn't too bad getting down...
