Great article. This is what will be true. Until we get all of that information plus test drives we are months away. I would think once all of that occurs you could set a 2-3 month clock.
Side bet some early ones go up in flames. Fyi..
Haha, good one. Never said the car is a joke and doesn't work, but keep trying. I said leadership is a joke, and their communication sucks. I wouldn't have put $1,000 down in 2018 if I didn't believe in the concept.
Pretty sure those are cardboard cutouts of Rivians, you can see the edges...
So, you are saying Rivian leadership was so poorly planning they waited until mid 2020 to order chips for late 2020 production (the original delivery date). I want to make sure you are on the record saying that that scenario is likely the case.
I know they won't have the answer, but would be good to know what specifically is causing the delay. safety testing, regulations, chip shortage (which chip and why), manufacturing line building, manufacturing process tuning, etc...
So when they were supposed to have cars built in 2020 they didn't order all the parts needed either in 2019 or early 2020? You are claiming that parts ordered in early 2020 still have not shipped? If so, would you like to buy this awesome bridge in NY?
