    Was going to wait for the R2 and trade in my Model Y. Ended up finding a great deal on a ~22k 2023 gen 1 R1T dual large pack and jumped on it. Unless I can convince my wife to make the switch to full electric for her car I won't be getting the R2 and will have to live vicariously through you...

    Glad you can keep Alexa. I know people hate it but I have it integrated with my Home Assistant so a lot of devices at home are exposed. I can tell Alexa to turn on the garage lights and open or close the garage doors (from anywhere), which is nice.

    Thanks, and I see how you went back to the same anchor point instead of using the metal latches on the liftgate. I definitely want to avoid damaging the liftgate latches

    I'm new to owning a pickup truck and just got an R1T a few weeks ago. Got the R1T in part because of its ability to fit full sheets of 8x4 plywood laying flat. Cabinetry is one of my hobbies so I'm often moving heavy and expensive sheets of 3/4" plywood, but I've always rented a u-haul to move...
