Bothers the hell outta me....but its pre-production...the back to front view of this charging door shows it isn't flush with the fender, so I'm thinking it either got bent or something during this whole road trip they seem to be on. There's a better image from the first Austin pics.
I feel silver is a great color for cars you keep a loooong time. I have experienced zero fade on two silver vehicles i have owned for 15 years each, however, they are either under a carport or in a parking garage 50% of the time. :cool: Dents and hail damage don't show as prominently either.
Kind of like the fish net pocket doors on these prototypes...I think they just aren't putting the nicer materials on these pre-production spec trucks. Can't wait till the first person on this forum gets one...I'll reserve judgement for then I imagine.
I am a cheapskate, but I am still actually considering it. I don't want an RV or a 5th wheel and this could somewhat satisfy the need for a kitchen and kitchen storage. It is very expensive, but you are paying for the novelty and the engineering cost for such a specialty item. I am concerned...
